The choice of materials
Direct restorations are currently done with tooth-colored materials – composite resins – in a single session.
When the lesions are very extensive, and the teeth may be very destroyed, the best treatment option is indirect restorations – fixed prosthesis – with the objective of reinforcing the remaining tooth structure.
